I had a happy childhood. I was bright, curious, and full of dreams. A wee girl who believed the world was wide open and waiting.

I loved to dance.

But at fourteen, everything changed.

That’s when I discovered I’d been born with a rare condition - MRKH syndrome.

It meant I hadn’t developed a uterus and would never be able to carry a child.

I was labelled a freak of nature by the doctors.

As you can imagine, it was a lot for a fourteen-year-old to carry.

Today, I recognise that I suffered trauma - back then, counselling wasn’t even a ‘thing’.

I was told I might never marry, that I’d probably never have a “normal” life.

But………… I proved them wrong.

After a difficult time as a teenager, at 24 I met a wonderful man who fully accepted me for myself - womb or no womb.

Together we chose not to adopt, a decision entirely ours.

That choice taught me that womanhood isn’t defined by motherhood, and fulfilment doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s version.

But………I spent years trying to feel “enough.”

I built a strong corporate career, hit all the right milestones, kept a smile in place. Pretended I was ‘fine’.
But underneath, there was always that inner feeling of something missing. Who am I meant to be?

In 2000, perimenopause hit, and I took my first leap of faith, left corporate life and started my own business.

And launched myself into my wellbeing journey.

Gave up alcohol and cigarettes and started healthy eating.

Took up Yoga and Meditation; Delved into Energy Healing, Reiki and Spirituality.

My life (of course) got heaps better.

I didn’t know it then, but each chapter was preparing me for something deeper.

In 2006, life called me back to Scotland to care for my elderly dad.

In 2010, I started my second business to help me work part-time and care for him.
When he passed away in 2012, my lovley mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and I became her main carer.

Those years changed me - teaching me patience, compassion, and the fierce kind of love that endures even as the person you love slowly slips away.

Then came 2020 - the year that changed everything.

In February, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer (thankfully, now fully recovered).
Just weeks later, my mum passed away.
And one week after that, the world went into lockdown.

It felt as if life had stripped everything back to its bare truth.

That was my turning point - the moment I knew I couldn’t go back to who I’d been.

I decided to do life completely differently.

I took a nine-month intensive training in mindset coaching, NLP, and hypnotherapy - and it was like rediscovering myself from the inside out.

It brought together everything I’d lived through:
the psychology of change, the neuroscience of healing, and the quiet magic of the subconscious mind.

That’s when Inner Wealth Coaching was born - my third business, and the one that feels most like home.

At 63, when most people are slowing down, I was just getting started.

Today, I help women in midlife rewire old patterns, calm their overthinking minds, and reconnect to their confidence and purpose - using the exact same tools that transformed my own life.

Because your future doesn’t need your past’s permission.
It just needs your present commitment.

And if my story tells you anything, let it be this:
It’s never too late to become who you were always meant to be.

Our greatest wounds can become our greatest wisdom when we learn to alchemise them.

✨ If you’re ready for support, guidance, and tools that actually work — I’m here to walk alongside you.

Because you deserve to feel seen, safe, and supported in this next chapter of your life.
